On the following pages we would like to inform you about the current project status for the restoration of the Kaltentannen bunker.
We started the restoration at the beginning of 2013. When we took over the work, nothing was mounted except the mount for the MG51. All pipes were cut flush with the wall. Even the hinges of the different interior doors were cut off.
The bunker was completely repainted, the collective ventilation and the PAK were reassembled.
The general state of restoration is already very advanced.
The following work still has to be carried out:
– Function test of the communication
– Various welding works for the lock door, MunMag door, gas protection lid and HG ejection lid
– Pressure measurement lock
– New production of various furnishings
– exterior renovation

( original armament MG11 and 4.7cm bunker gun)
Note: There are no functioning weapons in the bunker!
