Certainly a highlight of this convoy to remember, on the dispo of the Swiss Army Friends Club, was the promotion of Linda to function level 4.
This was not carried out without reason, but resulted from the achievements and commitment of Linda, who has now been serving the CHAF for more than 3 years with a wealth of ideas and commitment.
From the beginning the carrier pigeons were her hobbyhorse, with and for them she was very active in the club and did a great job (see CHFAF carrier pigeon blog, https://www.chaf.ch/brieftauben-schweizer-armee/). Not only the procurement of documents, regulations, equipment and uniforms/badges, but also the organisation of exhibitions at events such as the Nostalgia Flying Day at the Meiringen airfield in 2018, she carried out independently.
We were also impressed by the various activities with Ramona (also CHAF FHD) and so we decided to promote Linda to function level 4 (field female). Since there was no earning in the FHD, one was promoted instead of in degrees, to function levels.
During the promotion we tried to do this as original as possible, whereby we are aware that unfortunately not everything worked exactly. Nevertheless we are very proud of this celebration under the given circumstances and look forward to further ideas and support from Linda in the future in the new function 4.
