After a longer interruption and on Patrick’s initiative a CHAF Schiess-WK was held again this weekend. This was exclusively reserved for the CHAF active members and their partners.
It started at 9 o’clock. But first the “training” and refreshment was on the agenda. This was carried out by Patrick, who is also the shooting director, very professionally and competently. Thus the morning was planned for the training including inspection of the complete shooting range.
After a long lunch at 14:30 it was finally: “Lying, loading…”. We started with the obligatory shooting program. Of course, trial shots were allowed so that the “shotgun” could also be set correctly. After the obligatory one could also complete the field shooting, which was commented again by Patrick.
Afterwards one could also practice on another weapon (only ordnance weapons). So Daniel was allowed to shoot with the Stgw90 from (Wm) Mirjam or Raphi, Thomas and Simon tried their hand at the carbine.
After the “fire through” the weapons were of course properly cleaned, followed by a still cosy get-together, where one exchanged information about the met or missed meetings.
A big thank you to Patrick, who organized and carried out the day perfectly in terms of organization, food and training, and Simon as support of Patrick (2nd shooting director).
