Half a century of weapon space was duly celebrated. On 16 June 2018, a concentrated programme awaited the visitors in Bure: tank combat exercises, a tour of the new barracks, a presentation of the operations centre of the simulation platforms or the repair workshop of the army logistics base, to name but a few. The programme was completed by various exhibitions, such as the new combat clothing, artillery and armoured vehicles as well as the military police. Not to forget the three air shows: In the morning there was a demonstration of the Patrouille Suisse, in the afternoon a solo display of a Super Puma and an F/A 18 Hornet. External partners were also on hand with exhibitions and demonstrations, such as the RUAG Training Centre, the Border Guard Corps or a mobile command post of the Jura Cantonal Police. The following members from the CHAF association were present: Raffi, Remo, Linda with son Joel and sister Katrin, Ramona with son Eric, Fabian and Daniel.
