It is once again a great pleasure for us to introduce a new aspirant to you.
Angela (Angi) is under 25 years young and a very bright and lively young person. During our conversation in the LBA she told us that she has always been interested in the military. Maybe a little strengthened by her boyfriend, who is currently a lieutenant in the Swiss military.
Like Linda, Angi became aware of us via Facebook and first of all did some detailed research about the association. After a positive research she took heart and contacted us. Thereupon followed a first telephone call between her and Ralf, who administratively looks after the active members. After his very positive feedback to the board, a first appointment was made in our LBA, where we (board and angi) could get to know each other. Of course we also showed her our LBA including all the trimmings and explained to her again exactly what our club is all about and whether it could fit for her and us so far.
This meeting was also very positive and we decided to take the next step. Now it goes into the trial year and with the GV in the year 2021 the active members will then decide on a full admission. But we already have a very good feeling.
Angi thus strengthens the growing FHD department at the Swiss Army Friends Association to a strength of 5 women. Super!
