58th Bündner two-day march

...at home in many epochs...

Finally it was time and the marching group consisting of Monika (CHAF guest), Linda, Ramona, Lukas and Daniel set off for Chur on Friday. The first night from Friday to Saturday was spent in Linda’s really cozy Flums after Linda and Daniel picked up the rest of the participants at the station in Ziegelbrücke. In the cozy parlour stories were exchanged and the soul was prepared for the next two days.

The next morning the training of Ramona at the Stgw 90 by Lukas (marksman) took place. After a short drive we arrived at the barracks in Chur. Due to the very good organisation of Linda we were allowed to park our PUCH in the barracks area. After moving into the room we met at the barracks yard and after a short speech by the marching commander Major Pascal Ambass we were ready to leave. After about 15 kilometres through the beautiful area around Chur the shooting was on the agenda. We are proud of Ramona, who scored 47 points for the first time. And Monika and Daniel didn’t find any new friends in the tent in front of the shooting gallery in no time at all. The Wehrsportgruppe Schwyz, a great “bunch”. 😊 After the last kilometres, the well-deserved showers, the very fine night, some members spent the night in the specially equipped bar and met there again the new friends of the WSG Schwyz. We only say that the night to sleep was very short.

On the next day the CHAFler took the second route after a hearty breakfast. This time in the other direction and, luckily for some participants, without ascents. 😊 After about 4.5 hours the group arrived back at the barracks in Chur, proud but made.

A very special and exceedingly great, positive but also exhausting weekend, which was super organized by Linda. Thanks to all of us!

And I think I can say… Bündner Zweitagemarsch, we will meet again next year… 😊
