After a break of the parade last year, the active members of the club CHAF were again at the Tattoo Parade 2018 this year.
Represented by the BAT-Jeep of Patrick and also distributed to the other vehicles, we took part in this special formation in Basel (BAT-Jeep Zug 58). The gathering of the CHAFler was in our LBA. From there we took the BAT-Jeep with Patrick and Tobias and the PUCH with Alain, Remo and Daniel to Basel. The meeting was in Birsfelden and from there we went with all vehicles incl. 3 Condor’s to the fairground. First of all there was a catering before the whole train moved over the Wettsteinbrücke to Münsterplatz, where the actual starting point of all formations was located. A rather unusual but very positive picture was offered by the thousands of spectators who stood at the roadside and waved to us. 😉 At a walking pace we drove from Münsterplatz down Freien Strasse, over Marktplatz, Schifflände, Mittlere Rheinbrücke towards Messe, where the parade ended.
